FAQ

Questions we actually get asked

No jargon, no runaround. If your question is not here, ask us directly and we will answer straight.

How much does it cost to work with a content studio like Snackables?

Cost depends on the mix, lofi UGC volume runs far cheaper per asset than a produced hero video, and most brands run some combination of both. We build the actual numbers around your goals and budget on the first call, not off one flat price that wouldn't fit your brand anyway. The one part that's fixed going in is the structure, two months minimum, then month to month after that.

What's the minimum commitment to get started?

Two months minimum. That's enough time to plan a shoot, get real content live, and see how it performs before you decide anything long term. It's not a trial period, the content is real and usable from day one, it's simply the minimum runway that shows what working together actually looks like.

Do we have to sign a retainer, or can we stop after two months?

No retainer, ever. Once the two month minimum is up, everything runs month to month, you can scale content up, scale it down, or step away with notice. We built it that way on purpose, a studio that keeps your business by earning it every month works harder than one locked in by contract.

How long does it take to get finished content back?

Turnaround depends on the format and the volume in a given batch, lofi UGC moves faster than a fully produced hero video with styling and multiple setups. You get a real timeline for your specific project on the kickoff call, not a generic promise. When there's a launch or campaign date driving the work, we build the shoot and edit calendar backward from it.

Do we need to ship you product, or does your crew come shoot with us?

Both happen, depending on the project. For premium and hero content, our crew shoots on location in LA and Austin, or travels to you for a dedicated shoot day. For lofi UGC, you ship product to our creator network wherever you and your customers actually are, since that content is meant to look like a real person using it, not something studio produced.

What does lofi content actually mean?

Lofi means it looks and feels like something a real person shot on their phone, even though it's planned, directed, and edited with intent behind the scenes. It's the format winning in feeds right now, because audiences scroll past anything that visually announces itself as an ad. We treat it as its own craft, not a cheaper stand in for premium video, since a bad lofi video and a good one perform completely differently.

How much content do we actually get from one shoot day?

A single shoot day is built for volume, not one hero clip. A typical day produces somewhere around five short form videos alongside five or so photos, since we shoot multiple angles, hooks, and edits off the same setups instead of resetting for every asset. Exact counts shift with the concept and how many products or scenes are involved that day.

Can you make UGC style content we can run as paid ad creative?

Yes, that's most of what UGC gets used for now. We shoot it to double as organic content and paid ad creative, native looking hooks and pacing that hold attention before anyone registers it as a brand asset. You get raw variety, multiple hooks and angles, to actually test as ads instead of one polished spot you're stuck running everywhere.

Do you create content specifically for TikTok Shop?

We build UGC and short form content that performs on TikTok Shop, the same native, unpolished energy that works there is what we shoot everywhere else too. If TikTok Shop is a specific channel you're pushing, tell us on the call so we shoot with that format, length, and hook style in mind from the start. That's easier and cheaper than adapting existing content after the fact.

We're not based in LA, Austin, or New York, can you still work with us?

Yes. Our production crew is based in LA and Austin and shoots premium and hero content on location around both cities. Everywhere else, including New York, runs through remote UGC, you ship product to our creator network and we produce lofi content wherever you and your customers actually are, no travel required on either end.

What's the difference between hiring a content studio and hiring a full time videographer?

A full time videographer gives you one person's skill set, one shooting style, and a real ceiling on output once you factor in editing time, gear, and time off. A studio gives you the full range in one relationship, lofi UGC, short form, photo, and premium hero video, produced by whoever's actually right for that format. You also aren't carrying a full time salary for output that should ramp up and down with your calendar, not stay flat all year.

How is this different from a typical marketing retainer or agency?

A retainer usually locks you into a long contract and a fixed monthly bill, whether or not that month's output matches what you actually needed. We run month to month after a two month minimum, so the relationship has to keep earning your business instead of assuming it. It's also production first, not strategy decks and status meetings, you're paying for content getting made, not for meetings about content.

Can we see real work before we book a call?

Yes, and we'd rather you did. We show actual client work, real shoots, real edits, real brands we've produced for, not stock mockups or a highlight reel cut to hide the gaps. Ask for examples in the format you actually need, lofi social, UGC, or hero video, and we'll send the real thing before you commit to anything.

I run a restaurant or cafe, not a CPG brand, do you work with local spots too?

Yes, that's Loop. If you run a food or drink spot in Austin or LA, once a month we pull up for 30 minutes, shoot your food and your room, and hand you 4 to 6 short videos cut for Reels and TikTok. $500 a month, month to month, no crew, no fuss. It's a separate, lighter offer from our CPG brand packages, built specifically for a single local location. See Loop.
